As we come into the New Year, I want to share a reflection exercise I learned from my coach, Taki Moore. For me 2023, was a whirlwind, with a lot of change and adjustments, both in my business and personal life. There are four questions, and I’ll share my answers with you. But what I would love is to hear what yours are.

[Step by step] Grow a cash practice from $0 – $5K in just 30 days

Case Study: Hannah Sweitzer from Ft Lauderdale, (moved from Tampa earlier in the year) in her 1st week after joining the Platinum Mastermind

  1. This week I sold 6 POC PIF for a total of $10,605

4) Set the Correct Prices & Sales Script

  1. Must be priced correctly $175+/visit
  2. Don’t charge $25/muscle just for Dry Needling – price shopping
  3. If you are priced wrong you’re potentially leaving millions of dollars on the table
  4. Had 1 client in brooklyn charging only $120/hr after $175 eval, she was under priced and missing out on $50K in revenue in the remaining 3 months of the year

Mrs. Jones, based on what you shared and the conversation we’ve had,

7) Work backwards from goal – how many people per week

  1. Do this with all our new members who are just getting started
  2. $5,000/month is 3 patients at $2K POC, 4 patients at $1,500
  3. TBD to Eval rate should be 60-80% 5 TBD’s should get you 2-3 new patients
  4. What do you need to do to get 5 TBD’s per week? Even just 3 TBD’s?

How many people do you need to talk to or workshops do you need to do to get 5 TBD’s

8) Automate your intake, onboarding and customer retention

I turned 50 years old this week! Honestly, I woke up feeling the same.

I didn’t wake up with arthritis!

Age is just a number

Five years ago I set out to hit an “impossible goal” for my body and fitness. I wanted to pass the strong first kettlebell certification. The goal was to do 100 24 kilogram snatches in 5 minutes by the time I was 50.

The real goal

I missed the goal. I did 80 in 4:05 20 kilogram kettlebell.

  4. There is more than what most people expect
  5. Family is your foundation

I was interviewed last week by my business coach Taki Moore for our monthly Black Belt Hot Seat on the strategies that took my coaching business from $35K months to over 1 million per year.

3 Key Strategies I learned from Black Belt that really helped grow my business – and have helped 100’s of others grow theirs

1) Upgrade how I run my coaching calls and client events

2) 6 week game plan – having a focus, tracking my sales and sticking to the plan.

3) Evergreen onboarding and kick off call, delayed 1-on-1 call with me until after the created a Game plan, agree to platinum promise and upgraded welcome sequence – helped with retention

Why you need an online business

1) Answered questions

2) Created a Blog – with FAQ’s – now I would just do Youtube

2.5) Signed with Aweber and built an email list – with lead magnet

3) Released a paid digital download that I knew was the bonus to the course

4) Hired a coach

5) Sold my course

6) Build the course

7) Raised the price

8) Sold course on Webinars

9) Made it evergreen

Looking forward – not just courses or 1-on-1 coaching, you need MRR program

Don’t let shiny object syndrome pull you away from your main source of income, especially if it’s another business

Online Course: 8 ways to make more money

The number one mistake people make is the build the online course before the sell it. This is how you make mistakes! Sell it first so you can give people what they ACTUALLY want.  

  1. Make more offers of your online course

That means as soon as someone opts it to something, give them the next logical step. The more offers you make the more opportunities people will have to purchase from you.   

2. Show Proof 

People want so see something works BEFORE they buy! Show testimonials. Show them how you have done it before.  People need to know it can be real for them. 

3. Build Scarcity

Show people that your time or the product is limited. Don’t show manufactured scarcity, show them something is limited in order to get them off the fence. 

4. Raise the price of your online course

It seems obvious, right? If you tell people about the price increase, you’re also creating a type of scarcity and can give people the incentive to get off the fence and take action.  

5. Run The 5 Day Sales Sequence

This is a trend and true sequence I have personally used and many of my clients have used to talk about a bonus ending or a price increasing, but it tells people it’s time to buy.

6. Automate Your Offer

 Once you have your proven offer, it’s time to make it evergreen. You can automate the process to make money while you’re not even working. We use the PT Email Engine for these automations. But you don’t want to automate it until you know it works. 

7. Make it sustainable: Monthly Recurring Revenue

This is where the real magic happens. There are many ways to generate monthly recurring revenue, and the best way for someone else may not be the best way for you. 

8. Hire a Coach 

Working with different coaches has been the thing to accelerate my earnings the most. I didn’t get here by myself. I leveraged coaching to help me fast track my learning and growth. And that’s what you should be doing, too!
