Always Assume the Best

When someone cancels an appointment in your clinic, assume they just had a scheduling conflict. Don’t go into it thinking they are having buyer’s remorse. When someone no shows, don’t take it personally. Things like this happen to the best of us.

Try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes. Try to look at it from their perspective.  Before you respond, sit for a minute and think about the possible reasons something happened.

Assume the other person has the best intentions.

Gain Leverage for your Physical Therapy Practice

The short answer is having “leverage” means I’m able to use my time to magnify my income and results as well as others income and results.

If I have software and team members that save me time and generate more income and results than I can in my own, I have leverage.

Stop trading Time for Money with the leverage you build. Most people are stuck here, especially physical therapists. That’s the trap schools, insurance and even society want you to fall into.

Two ways to get our of the time for money trap

  1. Sell online -> it must be evergreen, not just 1:1
  2. Sell 1 to many
  3. Hire other people & leverage software to do the technical work and service delivery for you

You can expense things in your life like a company car.

Family members and children can be employees and you can pass through income to them

You leverage your current income to build your future investment income

Leverage is power – power for good in your life and the lives of others.

As we come into the New Year, I want to share a reflection exercise I learned from my coach, Taki Moore. For me 2023, was a whirlwind, with a lot of change and adjustments, both in my business and personal life. There are four questions, and I’ll share my answers with you. But what I would love is to hear what yours are.

[Step by step] Grow a cash practice from $0 – $5K in just 30 days

Case Study: Hannah Sweitzer from Ft Lauderdale, (moved from Tampa earlier in the year) in her 1st week after joining the Platinum Mastermind

  1. This week I sold 6 POC PIF for a total of $10,605

4) Set the Correct Prices & Sales Script

  1. Must be priced correctly $175+/visit
  2. Don’t charge $25/muscle just for Dry Needling – price shopping
  3. If you are priced wrong you’re potentially leaving millions of dollars on the table
  4. Had 1 client in brooklyn charging only $120/hr after $175 eval, she was under priced and missing out on $50K in revenue in the remaining 3 months of the year

Mrs. Jones, based on what you shared and the conversation we’ve had,

7) Work backwards from goal – how many people per week

  1. Do this with all our new members who are just getting started
  2. $5,000/month is 3 patients at $2K POC, 4 patients at $1,500
  3. TBD to Eval rate should be 60-80% 5 TBD’s should get you 2-3 new patients
  4. What do you need to do to get 5 TBD’s per week? Even just 3 TBD’s?

How many people do you need to talk to or workshops do you need to do to get 5 TBD’s

8) Automate your intake, onboarding and customer retention
